The tour leaves Peratallada and goes through the villages of Peralta where you see the public water fountain, Santa Susanna church and the ruins of Castell de Peralta castle.
Cross the road and cycle towards the massif of les Gavarres where you will discover La Carboners.
Cycle down the path of Fitor towards Foneta. You will see a limestone oven. Fonteta and Sant Climent de Peralta used to be great limestone producers.
You visit the village of Fonteta, the fountain from where it got its name and the church of Santa Maria de Fonteta which originated from the medievel period. You cross Fonteta to Vulpellac. This town has preserved a good part of the characteristics of medieval catalan villages. The highlights are the wall, the towers and the monumental complex that comprises the castle and the Sant Julia and Santa Basiliassa church.
From Vulpellac you go towards Canapost along a part of the old Empúries path. In Canapost it's worth pointing out the romanic church of Sant Esteve and you shouldn't miss the medievel graveyard next to it.
From here you go back to the town of Peratallada where you started and where you can rest and chat about our trip.
